FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES

Each year, Carlow United Church holds several community events that bring the community together and raise funds for the operation of the church and those in need in our immediate community of Carlow / Mayo and the Bancroft area. These events are the WALK-A-THON, STRAWBERRY SOCIAL and a CHILI DINNER.

The 2025 WALK-A-THON was on Sunday, September 7, 2025. It was another successful walk-a-thon fundraiser and we thank all the very generous donors who sponsored our walkers, The 2026 WALK-A-THON is scheduled for Sunday, September 6, 2026 and begins immediately after the service.

Our 2026 Annual all-you-can-eat STRAWBERRY SOCIAL was held Sunday, June 28, 2026 from 4 to 6 PM. Adults $12.00, children 5-10 years $6.00, children under 5 were free.

Our 2025 Annual all-you-can-eat CHILI DINNER was held Saturday, October 5, 2025 from 4 to 6 PM and was well attended. The 2026 CHILI DINNER is scheduled for Sunday, October 4, 2026 from 4 to 6 PM. Adults $12.00, children 5-10 years $6.00, children under 5 are free.

THANKSGIVING SERVICE

Each year our sanctuary gets a make over with Thanksgiving decorations. We are so blessed to live in an area where the fall colours are nothing short of magnificent and a testimony to the love of our creator.
