Reverend Lynn Watson is our minister at Carlow United Church.
Rev. Lynn began her term with us in July 2014 when she took on the responsibility of ministry within the Bancroft Carlow Pastoral Charge. Included in this charge is St. Paul's United Church in Bancroft, Carlow United Church in Boulter, St. Matthew's United Church in Baptiste Village, and St. Andrew's United Church in L'Amable. |
Rev. Lynn previously served as minister at Boyd’s Franktown Pastoral Charge in Lanark County, ON for three years from 2002 to 2005, St. David’s United Church in Calgary, AB for one year from 2005 to 2006 and Bloomfield United Church, Prince Edward County, ON for five years from 2007 to 2012.
Lynn graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Theology in 2002 and was ordained in May of the same year. She returned to Queen’s and earned a Master’s Degree in Theology in 2014.
Rev. Lynn loves athletics and the outdoors. When she is not planning and leading inspirational services for the churches in her charge, she plays hockey in the winter, rides a motorcycle in the summer and has done some major swimming marathons to raise money for worthy causes.
Rev. Lynn was born and raised in Bancroft and has come home to minister to us.
